Must give him points for perseverance.  Little monkey was working at the sliding internal door until he got it to open so he could go in the garage where he proceeded to howl at the top of his voice to alert me he was in there.   Up I get catch him put him back into the house thinking I can't have closed the door properly.  I made sure closed it this time.    Next thing I hear bang bang bang at the door then all of a sudden hear the door fly open. Yes next thing Zimba howling from the garage again.   Up I get catch him put him back in the house.   Make sure shut the door again.  Next thing bang bang bang sure enough hear door fly open and hear him crying in garage.  Get up see he is in the stroller so figure he wants to go for a walk so like a good mum I Zip him in and take for a walk. We saw some rabbits running around and birds of course.   Get home Take him out and put him in the house.   Go make a cuppa before I could sit down hear him crying in the garage again.  Go get him put him in the house.  He disappears in my bedroom.  Yay I can sit down with my cuppa.   Yea right before I can drink it hear the door banging and then Zimba crying from garage.  Go get him put him in the house he jumps on the tower phew.  Drink my cuppa  5 minutes later can hear him crying from garage.   Will this boy ever give up.  I tried to wedge something under the door but he still managed to get it open. Finally after an hour and a half he gave up and went to bed. Phew.  When hubby got home first job was to try fix the catches on the door so Zimba can't get in again.   We will see if he succeeded when Zimba wakes up.   My new grandson is here! After almost 6 weeks of bed rest, near constant contractions, and stop/start labor my grandson was born at 9:57 this morning only 10 days early. Mom and baby are both doing great. They are expecting to be released from the hospital 24 hours after the birth so hopefully I will get to see him tomorrow. His big brother is staying with me while they are at the hospital.  Rowan Lee 7 pounds 6 ounces 21.25 inches   more pics of Fluff... Lol   This explains a lot of things Posted by: Ragstimes1 - 05-12-2020, 02:20 PM - Forum: Ragdoll Health - Replies (2) Well, the last time Jamie and I were at the vet, the other vet gave him  a shot of depo.  We've been monitoring the sugar after the depo shots.  I didn't know the doctor was going to give it and this time his sugar went sky high.  We retested him this week and as soon as the insulin/needles get here, he will be going on insulin, just like mom.  It explains why he gets the wobbles, etc.  Right now you can't go into the vet's office but this will be one time that Jamie and I will be allowed in, so that they can teach me how to give him the insulin.  Not looking forward to it.  The vet looked at the diabetic foods and then I pointed out the chicken and the salmon, which Jamie is allergic to.  For now, he's going to stay on his regular food plus the insulin.  He's also going on vetasyl, which is fiber, to help get the calcium out of his system.  Easy fix.  Just sprinkle it on his wet food.  It was here really quick too. Jamie is sitting on the porch enjoying just looking around.  He left me a hairball so I have to decide whether to clean it up wet or just scrape it after it dries.  It's easier to just scrape it. Bailey turned 4 on the 3rd of May, what a cutie-pie he was when we got him and he's become even more of an adorable, funny, sweet boy over the past years, he makes us smile. Bailey and Katy are good buddies and she's often go up to him and ask him for a game and they two of them will play, it's so sweet to watch. No better toy than a ball... When you're finished playing with a ball, you can use it as a pillow (says Bailey).   Something to do during lockdown... So I decided to enter my gang. For the "Registered" classes you can enter your cat as a kitten and again as an adult, same applies to the "Pet" section, as well as rainbow babies also can be entered.  Looking through some of my photos recently I found some lovely ones of my fur babies which I sent in. The competition will be judged by 3 international judges around Mid May.  These are some of the pics I entered. Win or lose, in their meowmy's eyes they are the most beautiful! LOL Fozzy at 5 months old, who could resist that adorable little face!? Miss my baby boy terribly. Fozzy (in 2016), he was 2 years old in this pic, his mane grew quite a bit longer in the next few years. Amazing to see how they change. Cody in 2017, he was 6 years old in this pic. Katy at 5 months old, wasn't she just the cutest little baby girl. x Katy at 2 years...she hasn't changed, still such an adorable girl. x My gorgeous Mittens, miss this adorable girl.
