Been a Long Time |

I haven't been around here in a long time and have gone from having 4 Raggies down to 1. Max developed cancer and I lost him first. Beau had what they suspect was an aneurysm and I lost him suddenly in March of last year and lost Rags just a few weeks later. Rags had been on fluids for 16 months and just kind of ran out of gas. Jamie is now an "only" and seems delighted. He is one of the most affectionate snuggly cats I've ever come across and gives tons of kisses. Seems funny to not have the others around. I just took several pieces of cat furniture over to the local shelter and donated them. Jamie does not care at all about furniture (he has Mom - LOL). I looked up when I left and swear I saw Max and Rags waving goodbye. It's funny, when I first found the boards, Rags was just a baby and he would have been 17 last fall. Beau would have been 16. Jamie is now a little over 15 and I swear he still makes me think of a kitten.

I had a Maine Coon before I got my Ragdoll. Both are about the same size. Princess passed away I don't know how old she was because she was a rescue. Helen Podlevsky

Sorry for your loss.
Congratulations on getting a Ragdoll. I have a Maine Coon and a Ragdoll, both close in age and size and adore each of them.
Please let us know if we can be of any assistance with posting pictures.

Flickr Tutorial for Posting Pictures On The Forum
Now that Photobucket is charging to have the ability to post pictures elsewhere, I've joined Flickr in order to post pictures to the forum.
It actually is easier than PB and reportedly has less glitches and issues.
Go to http://www.flickr.com and sign up.
When you select the upload button it automatically connects to your PC or device's gallery of pictures. Select the upload button and choose a photo, add a description if you like and click "upload photo". I have an Android so I downloaded the free app and now the pictures on my phone upload automatically.
Then select the photo you want to use. On the bottom right hand corner select the icon "share photo" that looks like an arrow. Click BB Code on the next screen and select the size. Hit copy or Control and c.
Return to where you want the picture to go on this forum and paste it.
My beautiful granddaughter:
I've been a member since about 8 hours ago so anyone else who has any tips or pointers please chime in.
