Conditions check - McKeu - 10-07-2019 I would kindly ask you to check the conditions on my site for potential buyers and see, if and where they might come over as too harsh and maybe give some advice on how to rephrase. Thanks. English is not my native language and I have no illusions about me being a diplomatic person ) https://www.greatmews.ro/available-kittens RE: Conditions check - admin - 10-08-2019 I do think it needs a little tweaking so this is what I came up with: Our kittens will be available for re-homing at the age of 12 weeks at the earliest to ensure that they are well socialized. Reservations for kittens can be made before that time and will require a non-refundable deposit of 1/4 of the final price. (If you reserve a kitten and change your mind along the way, you diminish the kitten's chance to find a loving home, hence the reservation fee not being refundable.) If at any point during the reservation we decide that your kitten has to stay with the cattery, we will refund the reservation fee and you will be free to choose from the other available kittens or future litters at no additional cost. We reserve the right to interview future owners and to refuse them if we deem it necessary for any reason. This interview will take place before any possible reservation. After a successful reservation, the future owner can visit his future kitten on a regular basis, depending on the kitten's age and potential safety / health concerns as well as our availability. Every sale or other transfer of ownership will, without exception, be documented by a contract. All our kittens will arrive at their new forever homes de-wormed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, with a passport, a pedigree and spayed or neutered unless a breeding contract is in place. Additionally we offer life-long counseling for the new Ragdoll owners to ensure that they get the pet they always wanted and the cat will be well behaved, healthy and happy. RE: Conditions check - JanH - 10-08-2019 Think about really wanting non-refundable deposits. We rejected the idea because of the fear that someone would take a kitten they did not want because they would lose the deposit and because we reserve the right to back out at the last minute and they should have that ability too. If you accept deposits, make it clear you are not bound to place the kitten because of that. We have had a few cases where we discovered something late in the process that concerned us about the placement. RE: Conditions check - McKeu - 10-08-2019 I think we stated that they are refundable, if WE decide the kitten has to stay with us. Thanks for the input. I will make some changes to make it easier to understand and a little bit more .. light-weight. RE: Conditions check - JanH - 10-08-2019 That is not among the cases I highlighted. If you place the kitten with someone else, he clearly did not have to stay with you. It also does not speak to the case where the prospect wants to cancel, but also does not want to lose the deposit, which can result in a placement where the family does not really want the kitten. RE: Conditions check - McKeu - 10-08-2019 You are not wrong. I will rethink that. RE: Conditions check - McKeu - 10-09-2019 I removed the deposit being non-refundable. The reasons stated were good ones. Thanks, Jan. RE: Conditions check - admin - 10-09-2019 (10-09-2019, 01:49 PM)McKeu Wrote: I removed the deposit being non-refundable. Thanks, Jan.I think that this is wise and in time, as you become known as a good breeder, your concerns about placement should become moot anyway since most reputable breeders are able to establish waiting lists. Thanks for letting us share in the journey! RE: Conditions check - McKeu - 10-09-2019 (10-09-2019, 02:07 PM)admin Wrote:(10-09-2019, 01:49 PM)McKeu Wrote: I removed the deposit being non-refundable. Hey . I can and do listen. Except to people who claim their cat is a Ragdoll, "because it looks like one". . Which got me kicked out at that horrible FB group (which I am not sad about). RE: Conditions check - McKeu - 10-09-2019 I think your quotes are getting worse and worse I dunno what you wanted to say. Just try it without the quote, I guess? (Quote does not seem to work with quick reply in any way, I noticed) |
