Zimba up to his tricks again - HelenMac - 05-24-2020
Well Zimba has had me up and down today. Must give him points for perseverance. Little monkey was working at the sliding internal door until he got it to open so he could go in the garage where he proceeded to howl at the top of his voice to alert me he was in there.
Up I get catch him put him back into the house thinking I can't have closed the door properly. I made sure closed it this time. Next thing I hear bang bang bang at the door then all of a sudden hear the door fly open. Yes next thing Zimba howling from the garage again. 
Up I get catch him put him back in the house. Make sure shut the door again. Next thing bang bang bang sure enough hear door fly open and hear him crying in garage. Get up see he is in the stroller so figure he wants to go for a walk so like a good mum I Zip him in and take for a walk. We saw some rabbits running around and birds of course. Get home Take him out and put him in the house. Go make a cuppa before I could sit down hear him crying in the garage again. 
Go get him put him in the house. He disappears in my bedroom. Yay I can sit down with my cuppa. Yea right before I can drink it hear the door banging and then Zimba crying from garage. Go get him put him in the house he jumps on the tower phew. Drink my cuppa 5 minutes later can hear him crying from garage. Will this boy ever give up. I tried to wedge something under the door but he still managed to get it open. 
Finally after an hour and a half he gave up and went to bed. Phew. When hubby got home first job was to try fix the catches on the door so Zimba can't get in again. We will see if he succeeded when Zimba wakes up.

I look forward to hearing further developments in Zimba vs. The Door...

Oh, please, before the door is fixed, make a video of Zimba doing his escape. I would love to see the furry little genius is action.

Here's mister got too easy by the end of the day turns out the catch had come loose off the skirting hubby has fixed now thank goodness.

Oh, I feel so bad for Zimba. He had probably been trying that door for years and then, magically, one day it opened. And now it is broken again.
However, really loved the video.

Smudges Mom that door has been a issue for the whole time we have been here. Every escape has been thru that door. Not long after we moved in I'm out hanging the washing when suddenly I see a beautiful cat next to me then realize oh my gosh its Zimba so grab him and bring him in. He had let himself into the garage and out thru the back door and walked round the side of the house where I was. Phew. Second time he let himself into the garage I didn't know and opened the external door to put the rubbish out as I put it by the letter box I turn around when I see this cat in the front porch and realize its Zimba lunge for him fall over smash my knee as Zimba takes off round the side of the house while I'm yelling for hubby to get me up. He gets me up I follow where I saw Zimba go as can hear him crying send hubby thru the garage and out the back door. As I come round the corner I see Zimba and call him just as hubby comes thru the back door Zimba see's him lays down and rolls on his back for a tummy rub. Hubby picks him up and brings him in. That door is the bain of my life. We need to find a way to keep it secure permanently so far everything fails after a time because if he gets in there without me knowing and hubby comes home and opens the garage door to park the car he would be out the door like a shot.

Oh no!!!!! Now I am feeling much worse for you than for your little dickens. What a naughty (but totally precious) boy.
