You're probably right Gina, Wesley is such a live wire, he's keeping us on our toes. Lol (12-04-2020, 08:45 AM)MissViv Wrote: Quite a handsome little guy! I have a feeling he is going to keep you entertained for hours on end. Thank you so much Sue. He certainly is keeping us entertained, Fozzy and Katy weren't as busy as he is. Thank you Helen, he really is adorable, and whenever he discovers something new, he makes a sweet little chirping sound, I think I'm going to have another chatterbox like Cody. RE: Wesley is home at last! - Codysmom - 12-06-2020 It's been a busy time since Wesley arrived. Cody and Katy came to sniff under the door of the safe room with very little hissing etc. Cody especially has been very interested and would wait outside the door, he really was so curious as to who it was on the other side. After a day I put up a baby gate and let them peek at each other and after a short time they were playing with a long string one with a paw on each end through the door. Wesley kept reaching out his paw to Cody and after a short while they were actually tapping each others paws, eating on either side of the gate, this 'play' between them has continued today and seem to be ready to 'meet' one another. However Katy is different, she was lying at the gate watching him and when he came too closed she gave a hiss, but didn't run away, just lay there and watching him playing. I will have to give her a bit more time, but I think even with her it went quite well. So will keep an eye on them and hopefully Katy will start warming up to him. Just a couple more pics of this little ball of fun. RE: Wesley is home at last! - MUM_of_FLUFFY - 12-06-2020 Oh my heart is melting at these pics!!! What a darling boy your Wesley is!!! Sounds like the introductions are going very well at this stage - I look forward to more updates RE: Wesley is home at last! - HelenMac - 12-06-2020 I can just picture him and Cody playing together sounds adorable. Praying Katy is okay with him. He really is a gorgeous baby. RE: Wesley is home at last! - MUM_of_FLUFFY - 12-06-2020 I cannot believe how fast Wesley's Seal coloring is progressing!! So different to our lilac boys... I used to call Fluff my arctic fox - he was practically invisible on my white sheets at night - except for his huge kitten eyes. Very much looking forward to seeing the colour progression with Wesley... Well today I brought Cody and Wesley together in the lounge with Dabird, and it really went well, they were both playing with the toy and while Wesley was playing with a toy Cody was sniffing him. Later I had them in the room with 2 cubes and Wesley was hopping around stalking Cody. Only one hiss from Cody when Wesley almost landed on him, but then afterwards I got him playing with a piece of string he seemed happy again. I decided to separate them on a high note and continue tomorrow. (12-06-2020, 09:54 PM)MUM_of_FLUFFY Wrote: I cannot believe how fast Wesley's Seal coloring is progressing!! So different to our lilac boys... I know, it's a huge difference. Cody, at 15 weeks old, was a little arctic fox too. His colouring only really started coming in at around 18 months. RE: Wesley is home at last! - Codysmom - 12-07-2020 I took Wesley for his wellness checkup today, the vet really liked him, he said he was a beautiful, big, health boy. Needless to say Wesley wasn't happy to be in a carrier again, I think after being neutered on the 1st and flying up on the 3rd, he's had enough of carriers for a while, poor baby. Anyway, here's couple more photos from the past few days. RE: Wesley is home at last! - admin - 12-07-2020 He's just so beautiful! RE: Wesley is home at last! - MUM_of_FLUFFY - 12-07-2020 He's so gorgeous RE: Wesley is home at last! - HelenMac - 12-08-2020 Stunning boy. Seal mitteds are my favourite. I remember how fast Shadow's seal colors came in compared to Zimba's blue colors. |
