RE: Moving a long distance with cats - MUM_of_FLUFFY - 12-13-2022 Oh Colleen!!! I was so happy to hear the long trip went well for you and the kitties... I had such a huge grin on my face when I read: Wesley was the best traveler of all, he sat up now and again to look at where we were and then went to sleep again. Very, very glad to hear Cody & Katy managed the trip so well. Thinking of you all and sending so much love to your family (two-legged and four-legged) Pam xox RE: Moving a long distance with cats - HelenMac - 12-13-2022 Thats great news Colleen so glad they all travelled well. Hopefully they won't take too long to feel settled. RE: Moving a long distance with cats - NatsFan78 - 12-14-2022 I’m so happy to hear they all travelled well, I pray everyone settles in quickly. RE: Moving a long distance with cats - RaggyMomma - 12-28-2022 Colleen, I am glad the move went well. I have not been on this form for a while - facebook is my usual choice. We did a four day trip with 2 dogs and all 5 Hooligans in August. It was crazy. Thankfully we had two vehicles and 3 drivers, because while most of the raggies where good our youngest pup needed to have someone sit with him in the back. Rune and Freyr cried most of the way, until we let them out of the carriers and they just slept close to me. This was a big adjustment for everyone. The place is a bit bigger than the temporary place last year, but adding 4 loud kids and another dog added more stress. With the loss of Freyr on Christmas day, I hope that things will settle more. Routines have been established so far. Hopefully everything is going well for you |
