I have to feed my cats on counters and tables because the dog will run to gobble up any food the cats leave. He's a mini dachshund (sausage dog) but would land up a frankfurter if I wasn't careful. LOL ??

Yes sadly we are looking for a safe place to feed the Hooligans as well. Skye goes for the most expensive food we have lol.
Currently it is our kitchen table but I would like to set something else up for them

I am going to use a coffee table with storage built in. That way my boy’s food and water is off the floor plus it gives me a good place for storing his stuff.

I feed FLUFF on the kitchen counter. I have a bad back and other old lady ailments, so it's just easier for me. His favourite form of affection is head bunting and this is easily achieved from the kitchen counter. Also easier for mama to kiss his forehead (which he loves!!!). In addition, I placed an ottoman on the floor next to his feeding area so he can hop from the floor onto the ottoman, then hop from the ottoman to the counter.

I'm tragic I know!!!

I think it is wonderful you found a way to feed him that works well for both of you. I ended up getting a small tv stand to feed Jaxon on. It is only 11 inches tall but it is long enough and wide enough to be perfect for feeding him.

I prefer to consider myself well trained. My cats, not so much...

I love how much research you did on Ragdolls before getting Jaxon!!! He is a lucky boy to have a mama like you!!!
