They are both such gorgeous girls Sue. I'm absolutely thrilled for you. Looking forwards to seeing more pics of them once they come home. xo

RE: Not Ragdolls - Ragstimes1 - 12-01-2020

haven't gotten any new pix today but oh, they are so sweet.  After just a few  hours of exploring, they conked out and took a nap.  When they began to stir, I went into the kitchen and popped the lid on a can of kitten food.  Man, they sure knew what that was.  I got them royal canin kitten/mommy cat food because they said they were on royal canin at the shelter.  They won't touch it.  I mixed some blue buffalo kitten in with it and they liked the blue buffalo.  Is there another just plain "kittn" food or did I get a stale bag?  I've watched them play and now we're up to 5 hours.  They are running around with toys, purring, etc.  I'm amazed at how well they are doing and how quickly.  Even used the litter box (phewie).

Life is going to be so different.  I asked the foster Mom where they like to sleep.  Her answer was "wherever you let them'.  Looks like I'll have bed buddies again.  I forgot how cool it was to have kittens.  They're six months old so I wouldn't exactly call them kittens but they are are not tiny.  Apparently they got adopted before, new owner had stroke, kids took them to a shelter and the shelter read the microchip and called this shelter.  That's how they got to my house.

Great story. I'm so happy that it's all working out well for you and them too!

They sound and look adorable. Yea nothing better than bed mates especially with winter coming. Hopefully soon you will have a couple of snugglers too.

Glad to hear Willow & Coco have settled in so quickly.
I'm so happy for them - and so happy for you...  Smile

I’m so happy for you! I can’t wait for a picture update.

Boy, I wanted a loving pair and I certainly got one.  Coco is more outgoing and jumps up on my lap but Willow can purr louder.  I figured that both were asleep so I came in to computer, heard a meow and there was Coco looking up at me.  No sneaking around here.  Willow is asleep on the bed and Coco is asleep wherever I am.  What a pair they are.  After losing their last owner, I get the feeling that there's a certain amount of "If we are cute enough, can we stay here??".  Coco loves the plastic springs and spends a lot of time carrying them around.  Definitely a pair of keepers.

RE: Not Ragdolls - Ragstimes1 - 12-02-2020

well, ladies, I've plugged the battery in from the camera so I can get some pictures.  Coco got up in the chair this afternoon, snuggled next to me and went to sleep.  I still don't know what to do for dry food.  The royal canin was in the "do not touch" category.  The blue buffalo is a bit better but they really aren't eating that much.  Don't know what to try next.  Any suggestions?  I gave them a 3 oz. can of food for dinner and the plate has been licked clean.  I'm debating whether to open another can or wait until near bedtime.  I don't want them to be hungry but don't want to over feed them.
Cool
