Reminder...and looking for some inspiration! - Codysmom - 05-18-2019

I know it's rather early, but as all you folk in the northern hemisphere are experiencing longer sunnier days now, for those who are interested in submitting photos for the forum calender please make use of the 'light' to take photos of your fur babies.

I will put up a post a bit later in the year for the calendar submissions but in the meantime please start snapping away. Wink


I am also looking for some inpiration for the 2020 calendar, I've been playing around a lot and have a couple of samples below, however some of them I know are rather extreme and I don't think will appeal to everyone, LOL!   
Perhaps you could have a look and give me a couple of ideas...

#1 - Very little editing done on this one, only removed the chair legs behind Fozzy

#2 - Original pic of my moggy girl, Mittens with slight editing to remove the outside edges of the box she was in.

Okay, here is my opinion on the wonderful pictures.
I love 1b...Fozzy looks so ethereal.

No. 2 gets my vote for Mittens. I feel the orange "fireworks" in 2b detracts from her glowing eyes.

I prefer No. 3 for Katy. 3b is very beautiful and I think it would make a wonderful memorial photo.

I love photo No. 4 because it shows Fozzy's great fluffy body, but 4b really would look wonderful on a calendar.

4B and original mittens. I prefer minimum like to see the cats with nothing to detract from them.

Thanks Helen, I like those too but it will depend on everyone's submissions eventually I think. In the past you've given me such beautiful photos to work from, it makes it easy for me. Smile xo

I agree that 4b is the nicest look for the calendar. While the backgrounds are all beautiful, I think they distract/detract from the natural beauty of the subjects.

Thanks for the input ladies! Now you know what I'm looking for. LOL!  Hope you can get some lovely pics over the next couple of months. I'm hoping to start with the calendar pages around somewhere maybe July/August so that those who like to order early can do so. I will try and play around a bit more for some more ideas and input, but I'm also liking a simple page. Smile
