Cross those Fingers - Ragstimes1 - 04-05-2020

Jamie went in last week for a shot of depo.  It is his 3rd shot.  The first one didn't seem to work, he had a second and needed another one 5 weeks later.  He doesn't seem to be itching at all and the skin on his face where it looked so bad is now dried over.  What seemed to clear things up was the meds he had for the MRSA.  We thought it was allergies.  I'm now putting aquaphor on his face which is simply lanolin/vaseline which will soften up the skin.  We're hoping this cleans it up and there's no more vet visits.  I'm busy cooking some fresh vegetables I got from whole foods and wonder if I'll ever get a delivery window again.  Had one but don't know what I did wrong as it went away.  Got a feeling I'm going to be looking at the inside of this house for a long time. Wink

Praying this is the beginning of a complete recovery and a happy healthy Jamie again. I here you about getting food deliveries. For the first time in 3 weeks finally got a delivery of fresh and frozen vegetables. No fruit though. I also found a wholesale butcher that does deliveries. Hubby and me drove to the village main car park the driver opened our hatch put the meat in chillybin said thanks for order shut the hatch and waved us off. So car got a little run and we now have meat and veg.

We are lucky that so far the grocery situation here is not dire. The items we buy are in stock .
I am still working as our business is considered essential in the fact we serve the oil sands. How long we have work with the price of Canadian oil almost in the negatives. I am worried about either of us getting sick or one of our kids. My Dad is in lock down in their assisted living apartment. So far no cases in there and they locked it down early (thank the gods). My brother was at their island cabin and are staying there. Hopefully they were stocked up with food. My sister is doing well and only doing grocery runs.
My daughter is the one I worry about the most she has asthma and still or always tired from chasing 4 kids.
The new normal is going to be crazy

How's Jamie doing now, Sue? Hopefully he's improving.
Glad to see you all are keeping safe, even if it does mean we're all in lockdown. At least through technology we can reach out to each other and see how we're all doing.
