Not cat related, prayer request - NatsFan78 - 04-09-2020
Good morning. This is completely unrelated to cats. My daughter will be 33 weeks pregnant tomorrow and is at the hospital in labor. They are trying to stop it but I don’t know much more than that. She is being given steroid shots to boost his lungs. Thanks to this stupid virus I can’t go to the hospital. Thankfully her husband can stay with her at least for now. Please pray the labor can be stopped and Rowan doesn’t arrive this early. They are waiting until they talk to the doctor before they tell everyone so I can’t talk to anyone about it. I am going crazy sitting here. Thank you.

Sending best wishes your daughter's way. We went through a similar scare when my DIL was pregnant with my granddaughter and only 23 weeks. The doctors managed to stop the labor and she came the day she was due. Modern medicine is marvelous.

Thank you so much. Last I heard she was dilated to 1.5 cm and the contractions had slowed down a little. She had been messaging me every few minutes but her and her husband both stopped messaging and I haven’t heard anything for a little over two hours. I’m going crazy with worry.

Thank you all so much. The contractions have not stopped but they are very light. She was sent home on bed rest which will be hard with a one year old. They gave her steroids and she has to go back to the hospital in the morning for another steroid shot. Hopefully they will help strengthen the baby’s lungs. The goal is to make it at least one more week, preferably two.
