Missing toys found what fun - HelenMac - 10-02-2020 Thursday we had the kitchen bench replaced after it developed a fault.  We emptied the cupboards the night before and the dining table and chairs moved into the lounge.  Shadow was not impressed keep wandering thru the empty kitchen crying poor baby.  The boys had to be put away in our bedroom for the day but were still able to access their enclosure  as had builders plumbers and electricians in and out all day not to mention the village management to check on progress and I didn't want them escaping..   The boys had to move the fridge to get the old bench out and first thing they said was  there's a stash of cat toys behind here...   I looked to see fridge magnets and favourite cat toys that had disappeared long ago.    So I grabbed them cleaned them and placed them in the toy corner.    When Shadow was let out at 5.30pm  he had a sniff of the kitchen to make sure everything was back in place then went straight to the toys.  He saw the long lost mouse.  He imediately picked it up threw it in the air pouncing on it and batting it round the room.  Havn't seen him play like that in ages.  Then it was time for dinner.  Hour later Zimba woke up straight to the toy corner next thing mouse is flying thru the air as Zimba chases it and pounces then throws it up again catching it then he raced to the tunnel with it where he deposited it and came for dinner.    Unfortunately can't get them here anymore.  So next time it goes missing will have to get someone to move the fridge.   As this was always a favourite and obviously still is.   RE: Missing toys found what fun - Codysmom - 10-03-2020 Isn't it amazing how they never forget a favourite toy. I love it when they find them again, the obvious joy and excitement they show is just too sweet. Thank you for sharing, it made me smile. I could just see the boys having fun with their 'new' toys.
