My sweet boy turned out to have an inoperable tumor in his belly that was pressing on his bladder (hence the peeing all the time) and kept the stool from moving on through. He had an ultrasound on Friday that showed it was not "fixable" and we managed to have a special weekend. I was afraid that if I pushed the time today the food would start to back up on him. He's is now with his brothers and I imagine his Maxie is throwing a huge party for him tonight. He went peacefully and quietly and even gave me a kiss and some purrs while we were at the vet's office today. that's the second cat I've lost to cancer. No more ragdolls but I did promise him I'd get another kitty.

The tumor certainly explains a lot of what has gone on lately. I'm just so grateful that he is not in any pain or suffering and I think we got things taken care of in time to prevent that. Jamie was the most affectionate kitty I've ever come across, licking your face and purring. He absolutely loved his brother Maxie so I know that the four boys are all united again and that does give me peace. Thanks for all the caring and support to everybody. It makes the parting just a little easier.
