Fluff's new catgrass plants arrived today!!! - MUM_of_FLUFFY - 05-05-2022

I was so excited to unwrap my parcel and find these gorgeous babies inside:

I planted them out into a lovely square pot which fits 4 x plants beautifully... Big Grin

However, Fluff will have to wait at least 4-6 weeks before I put the pot in the enclosure, so the root systems have time to develop and the plants become established in the pot. Once the new pot goes in, I can take the old trough planter out and rejuvenate it or replant it. Ultimately the plan is to cram as many pots of Cat Grass as I can into the enclosure.

The seeds are woefully slow to grow and it will be months before they're ready...
I won't be growing cat grass from seed again - that's for sure!!!

Kitty grass is just a green, right? Not like catnip? Fluffy is going to be one happy little guy. And you have a lot of work...Good Cat Mum, Good Cat Mum!!!!

The cat grass I grow is Dactylis Glomerata and yes it's just a green (not like catnip).
Although you would think it was catnip by the way he acts around it...

I was so tempted to put it in the enclosure today just to see his 'happy' face light up... Smile
But I'm forcing myself to wait until it's a little more established...
