Great start to the year - HelenMac - 01-08-2023

Thus far we have had a earthquake  tropical storm days of rumbling thunder now we are in for a cyclone lovely start to the year. Huh

I got up this morning and this is what I see.

My poor meer cats got caught by the wind and tipped out the pot.. Luckily they were pegged down unfortunately one has a broken tail now so have taken them in and have glued his tail back on. Need  to find another place for them.  The Poor boys are not impressed either by this weather they don't like the wind heavy rain or rumbling thunder when out in the enclosure so have not been out much. I must admit I am enjoying the extra cuddles I'm  getting though.

Some how I missed replying....oh boy and I thought Michigan was a mess. I think dealing with gray skies and regular (depressing) winter rain is easier than what you have. How are things going now? Is everyone (human and furry) okay?

Unfortunately lost all my perenial plants petunias in my pots.. So got new ones yesterday and planted them and blow me down we are in for another tropical storm with heavy rain. Will get hubby to move them under the eaves see if can keep them safe. So many parts of the country are still flooded with roads washed out this will delay recovery even more.
