Also a nod from Fluffy - who is currently chasing golden jingle bells around the house - and demanding play-time with his new wand toys. I also got him a faux ivy trellis that I fixed across his (sorry I should say my) bedroom window. I think it looks slightly tacky, however Fluff is absolutely loving the jungle vibe. He peers through the leaves as if he were a concealed lion in wait for a gazelle.
And who am I to argue with that??? His happiness is my raison d'être after all - and when it gets a bit too much for me to look at I just pull the blind down and close the curtains. My blind and shades are in a neutral warm toned grey, a bit like Fluffy's lilac markings!!!

I cracked the screen on my expensive phone (that I ONLY bought to take photos of Fluffy). Now I have a cheap nasty phone that takes HORRIBLE photos of Fluffy. How can a basic phone camera make such a handsome fella as my boy look so drab???
Also - I never got the hang of the new Flickr thing - so I cant upload my photos there...
The budget is tight at the moment and upgrading to the modern tech that I dream of is simply not happening.
BUT - Fluffy eats better than I do - and we're having a fabulous holiday season.
Best Food for Fluffy (YES)
Favourite Cat Litter (YES)
Favourite Christmas Toys (YES)
Environment Enrichment Activity (that simulates the jungle) YES!!!
Also - I spent Christmas Eve celebrating with friends all day - so I cancelled my Christmas Day plans to stay home with Fluffy.
Real cat people get this.

I don't think I'm ever going to be allowed to fully close the bedroom curtains again.
The fake ivy trellis is not the decor vision I had for the bedroom - but he is so happy.
Helen - the loss of SHADOW hit me hard even though I never met him in real life.
It made me realise that every moment spent with Fluff is so incredibly precious.
SHADOW was the kind of ragdoll I dreamed about getting before I brought my baby Fluff home.
Fluff is the ragdoll that was meant for me, and SHADOW was the ragdoll meant for you.
Please know my heart aches for you and Zimba as you learn to live without SHADOW.
