Poor Zimba and Daisy not happy with noise - HelenMac - 08-16-2024

My poor babies don't think they will be using the enclosure much for a while.  They have started the expansion of the village as they bought the property next to the village so could expand.. Unfortunately its behind us can see everything thru the kitchen window and its on the enclosure side so very noisy out there.  Cats were not impressed with the racket today as they were pulling down the barn on the land behind us..    At least I can wear earbuds with music.  Not them.  They soon took off indoors.  Thank goodness for double glazing.  Zimba spent the rest of the day in the bottom of the wardrobe and Daisy beside me. Just hope this doesn't set Zimba back as I know how much he hated construction next to us in our last house I never saw him he spent all day under the bed poor baby.

Then today I decided to take Zimba for a walk thought I would try Daisy with him as last time on her own she hated it well today was a epic fail.  All she wanted was out clawing at the mesh crying climbing over Zimba.  Sorry buddy won't do that again will just be our special time together from now on.

The look on poor Zimba's face reads: we are not amused.

Fluff is exactly like Daisy in his pram, but he feels much more secure with his hard carrier inside the pram. So much so - that we've been going for longer walks, inside the shopping mall and up to the chemist. I have the pram zipped closed over the carrier so people can't see him, but he can peer out.

I rarely say that I have a cat in there - I think many people assume it's a baby Wink  Big Grin Tongue

Occasionally if I run into a friend I unzip the pram so Fluff can say hello...

Was hoping they could have a nice peaceful day in the enclosure today but wasn't meant to be.. Started out okay wet rainy day so Zimba was out there sleeping on the cat tower until the rain got really torrential and loud then the wind turned really gusty ended up a horrible storm he ran in and hid in the wardrobe. Decided safest to lock them in so no more out in the enclosure today as wind was so loud everything was banging was quite scary.
