Zimba and Daisy update - HelenMac - 08-29-2024 Took them both to the vet yesterday for weigh in and nail trim. Zimba has finally put 200 grams on yipee very big happy dance here so weighs in at 7.2kg still a ways off from his 7.8kg but finally going up He has got his appetite back and playing with Daisy the new toddler tunnel set I bought was the best thing ever as they can chase each other thru it and also like sleeping in there together. Have also caught them both washing each other. Daisy is now back to her pre having kittens weight of 4.5kg tiny compared to Zimba but it is nice having a smaller baby to cuddle. RE: Zimba and Daisy update - MUM_of_FLUFFY - 08-29-2024 Yippee indeed!!! I'm doing a big happy dance for you, sweet Zimba and darling Daisy... Such wonderful news - thanks for sharing Helen... Hugs, Pats, Cuddles & Kisses xoxox from Auntie Pam & Fluffy RE: Zimba and Daisy update - HelenMac - 09-24-2024 Woohoo Zimba is up another 160 grams. So happy that he's now steadily going up.. That's 360grams so far. Good on you buddy mum is so proud and happy. RE: Zimba and Daisy update - MUM_of_FLUFFY - 09-24-2024 That's such great news Helen - so happy for you and Zimba RE: Zimba and Daisy update - HelenMac - 11-06-2024 Weighed my boy today 74.3kg woo hoo go Zimba so proud of you keep it up buddy.. Since having the last two teeth out he prefers his wet food mashed up. He eats more if I mash it or put it in the blender which I'm happy to do if it gets him to eat more. He was struggling with the Royal Canin prescription dental biscuits so vet said to try the Hills td prescripton biscuits as they are a bit softer. So got a bag and he loves them I put them in his feeder and also keep some by my chair and when he jumps up and pats my arm for a treat I give them to him 1 at a time and he is so happy. Vet also said to try the royal canin 12+ food for him as he will be 12 in February so have ordered some. He definately has more energy now and is playing more with Daisy which is awesome he's also been spending quite a bit more time out in the enclosure. Daisy is now 4.6kg so gone up a bit too. RE: Zimba and Daisy update - MUM_of_FLUFFY - 11-06-2024 That's such good news Helen!!! So happy for your fur family... Can you update us with pics? Auntie Pam... xoxoxoxoxox RE: Zimba and Daisy update - HelenMac - 11-06-2024 Thanks Pam will try and get some photos. I'm very upset since poor Zimba had the last teeth out his face has really sunken in so very hard to get a good photo now he used to be my photogenic cat. Last night got up to go to bed and this is what I saw. Of course went over to give them both a pet and kiss and said goodnight. She likes to sleep under him. When I come home after being out usually find her on top of the house that Zimba sleeps in. Obviously wants to be close to him. Have put a calming snuggle blanket in what was Shadow's chair to see if they will go in together. Don't want to put it on the couch yet as that's Zimba's favourite place to sleep. Hopefully this will tide you over until our weather is better and I can take some pictures out in the enclosure. RE: Zimba and Daisy update - MUM_of_FLUFFY - 11-07-2024 Ah yes! Zimba's still photogenic and I love that direct stare at the camera I am top cat in this house and I have bestest, biggest bed! Daisy has been so wonderful for him and her colouring (particularly on that gorgeous tail) is stunning. It warms my heart to see the joy and healing she has brought to your family |
