Unfortunately had to take Daisy to the vet. Good news found my old vet working a bit further away but well worth the trip was so happy to find him and register with the new practice. He absolutely fell in love with Daisy was so busy stroking and cuddling her he said this what you came to see me for isn't it.
Unfortunately Daisy has conjunctivitis so had a pain shot as he said looks very sore and got some drops woopey me trying to put drops in a cats eye. He did a full examination and said she's all good and she doesn't act sick or anything I had just noticed a discharge from one eye so erred on the side of caution. I must say she does not like the car or carrier when its zipped up spent the whole ride frantically trying to get out and crying.. Yet she sleeps in it at home all the time. I also took Zimba for weighing so Gabe checked his eyes said he is okay was shocked at his weight loss he gave him lots loving too. So nice when a vet doesn't rush you but loves on the animals and talks and explains things.. His weight is still really down so he suggested I give him some of Daisy's kitten food mixed with the adult like we are doing for her so will do that.. I must say I was so happy to find Gabe there is just something special about him and his love for animals. The other thing was the practice does the type of vaccination the breeder recomends for ragdolls as its less harsh on them and has less reactions.. Must say Poor Zimba wasn't very well after his last one as was different from brand from this one. Boy I must of rung every vet practice here to find a practice that uses this vaccination and then to find out Gabe had started there the 1st of May that was the best news ever. .

Glad to hear you have such a great vet - it really does make all the difference.
Please forgive me Helen but I have to admit I giggled when I read that Daisy didn't like the car or the carrier on the trip to the vet. She is so absolutely perfect in every way (looks, temperament and purr-sonality!) that it was funny reading she had finally put her paw down and made her feelings known about something...
I absolutely adore your little girl and eagerly await future updates...

Yes I must admit was rather a shock. I also tried to take her out for a walk in the stroller the other day no way was she having that in the end had to turn around and come back lucky I didn't meet anyone they would have thought I was torturing her. I asked the breeder about it she said Daisy doesn't like to be restrained asked how on earth she managed at the cat show as she was shown at 8 months and got runner up best in show.. Her eyes look heaps better today but boy she fights me when its time to put the drops in. I play with her after to try get her mind off it. I hope she doesn't hate me for it. Have to do it twice a day. 
Breeder also suggested I get a hard smaller carrier rather than the soft sided one so have just ordered one as she was only 4.5kg before having the kittens breeder reckons will only eventually get to about 5kg so don't need big carrier like I have for my boy.

Fluffy does NOT like to be restrained either. He has made his FEELINGS KNOWN about such torturous practices and duly instructed me to desist from these practices.
I have a hard carrier that sits inside his pram. It helps him feel protected and I feel more relaxed taking him out because I KNOW he's protected. He protests slightly when I put him in the carrier inside the pram, but he does enjoy sitting at a small children's playground a block from our flat. It has a secure gate and we are not bothered by dogs there. We both enjoy bird watching there.
I think your breeder is spot on about the hard carrier - it works for Fluffy...
