I'm absolutely devastated at the moment, this morning I unexpectedly lost my beloved Mittens. She urgently needed her teeth done as she's been experiencing pain when eating, so I took her in for the procedure and the vet checked her, checked her blood and everything seemed fine. He had to extract a few of her molars as they were really bad and he said all went well and she started waking up from the anaesthesia when he thinks a clot formed and although he kept breathing for her for 40 minutes he couldn't pull her through.
To say I'm beyond devastated at the moment is an understatement, I think you'll understand over here just how I'm feeling, I can't stop crying for my beautiful baby girl.

I'm so sorry Colleen. I can't imagine how sad you must be right now. You gave her a great life right from rescuing her as a feral baby. My most sincere condolences on the loss of your beautiful girl. -

Oh Colleen I am so very sorry to hear of the sudden loss of sweet Mittens. She may be gone but will forever have a place in your heart and I pray as time goes on your memories of her will bring you comfort. Praying for you Colleen and sending lots hugs your way. -

Oh Colleen I am so saddened to hear of your beautiful Mittens passing away... and all the more shocking for you because it was so sudden. Your tribute to Mittens is so beautiful, I felt privileged to read it. I'm going outside tonight to light a candle for your beautiful girl xxx

Thank you so much my friends for your words of comfort, this has been a very difficult time for me losing my beloved Mittens aka Mitsy so suddenly and so soon after losing my Fozzy. I appreciate the love and sympathy as I know you all know how difficult it is to lose a fur baby, they are part of the family.
I have been missing her so much and I still find myself looking for her as she would always sleep in my room or on my bed and was my real lap cat and I miss having her around me. I am so thankful that I have Cody and Katy, they have been a huge comfort but the house is really feeling empty after losing two so suddenly.
