We are so blessed Helen, I haven't even been able to photograph all the birds around our home, let alone the area. These are just a few around , other regions have even more varieties and colours etc. We have such amazing birds and wildlife over here, I often wish I could get out more to photograph them. -

Still been trying to get a better shot of the European Bee Eaters, but sadly just can't get any closer than this. They really are magnificent birds to look at.

My little friend the White Bellied Sunbird has been more reliable, such a beautiful and vocal little bird

I put my name on a waiting list for Gazania Daybreak Rose Stripe because I really love this particular variety. About 6 weeks ago the tube-stock arrived in the mail and I promptly planted the babies out in my garden. This is what it looks like today

Absolutely STUNNING! I love gazanias too, we had some beautiful ones in the garden but the dassies (rock hydraxs') ate them.
