Well, after having NO internet for over two weeks and phoning the telephone and IP provider (making an absolute PEST of myself), I'm finally back online.
It appears that after making a minor change to my line the telephone company removed my internet line too!
It has taken this long to get up and running again. Anyway, glad to be up and running again!
