I haven't posted any photos of Patches for some time, she's been living in the yard since she was born in March 2009 which makes her 10+ years old and still such a beautiful girl. She'll only allow my mom and I to come fairly close but she's always been the shyest of our feral kitties. I took these around a year ago and need to upload some more recent pics, but she hasn't changed in looks, still so lovely!

This chap has been around for some years now and would always run off in terror whenever he saw anyone, however lately (perhaps driven by hunger) he's been coming around for food. He doesn't fight with Patches, which is good otherwise I would have to shoo him away, but I feed him away from her so that she doesn't feel threatened when she eats.
I call him Bobby because he only has half a tail left, I don't know where he comes from, but I wonder whether he didn't once belong to someone as he's no longer very shy of me and today he let me stroke him while he was eating which makes me think he's not completely feral. Poor kitty, I wish more folk around here would neuter and spay their cats and look after them properly.

He is beautiful.
It is hard to get people/ society to change. I follow a girl from Dubai on instagram and the kitties she is trying to feed and look after is so sad. The mothers have constant batches of kittens. They are chased and beaten. They are so thin it's sickening. Also someone steals the young kittens from the mothers, what happens to them I am afraid to think.
They don't have TNR there or rescues either. -

What a stunner Patches is. And, well, Bobby...what a handsome dude. They are so lucky to have you to look after them.
