After having sciatica all of January and most of February, the dust levels, etc. in the house were something else. I had emptied cabinets in the kitchen when the new floor went in and had not been able to put things away. I've gotten most of it out of the den and am working through the kitchen. I just do some each day and then quit. Don't want to over do it. I had some things to take over to Rose and they announced yesterday "no visitors". Great idea but I missed the boat. They said they would take things up to her and one of the things they couldn't believe I had was a big pack of the mega rolls of Quilted Northern. I'm thankful I've been building my pantry as right now you can't find t-paper anywhere. She's going to cover it so it doesn't disappear out of her closet. I went to WaWa and got milk and eggs to freeze (yes, you can freeze them). I'm planning on using them when I make bread in my bread machine, which came while I had sciatica and it hasn't come out of the box yet. I bought more flour and yeast and some starter yesterday at King Arthur Flour since they didn't have it at the market. I also had to get some fairly common things at Amazon that were gone from the drug store. Any time I can't find something locally, I just go "Amazon". So far, I've done well but you do have to know your prices.
I finally hit a point with the sciatica where I just simply began to feel better and it's gone. Wow, it was long-lasting and nasty. Jamie started peeing on my bed as I think he thought I was headed to the big litterbox in the sky. When I announced I felt better and stopped moaning, the peeing abruptly stopped. We've been working on getting his face cleared up and he's had shots of depo, we're using a MRSA ointment, and a cream with antibiotics and steroids in it. It's looking better. I have to watch that he doesn't start scratching it. I don't want to do more depo until it's absolutely time as it can cause diabetes. One of us in the house is enough. I've got a variety of wet foods for him and his favorite is still the mediterranean harvest (tuna with veggies). He's not big on the veggies, tho.
When you do have to go out around people, use Young Living Thieves. It is anti-fungal, antibacterial, anti-everything. Put a few drops in your mouth and it works wonders. I have friends who flew a lot, used Thieves and never got sick. I sent a friend of mine a number of Thieves products - tooth paste, mouth wash, soap, spray, etc. Gotta keep folks healthy. Since I'm retired Jamie and I can just kick back and stay home but there's a lot of folks who can't do that. Be sure you are protected if you have to go out.
