How much canned food should an 11.5 pound Tonkinese cat get daily. She eats dry food only when nothing else is available for many hours.

Doesn't it tell you on the label? I occasionally give Jamie BFF food (not one of his favorites) but it says 1.0 oz. per pound of body weight but it should be according to body weight and activity of cat. I don't know if this really helped you at all. I give Jamie 1/2 of the 3 oz. can for his meals prior to his shots but he also nibbles on dry food. I know a healthy active cat would probably eat in excess of a 3 oz. can daily.

I have found that it can vary quite a bit according to the brand. I would suggest checking the food you are using on chewy for the feeding information. Sorry I couldn’t be more help.

When I had Shadow (first cat), it was 3 oz. 2x a day.

Thanks, guys...I have no idea why I didn't think to look on the can or check Chewy's. My brain is as locked down as the rest of Michigan.
