Looking forward to see your photos, I took loads of photos of mine when they were growing, (well actually I still do. LOL!) and it was amazing to watch them grow and change as their colours came in. I want to post a thread which shows a Ragdolls growth from kitten hood through their first year etc. I hope to gather photos that show this nicely soon and post it. Hopefully everyone could contribute theirs on that thread too. xo -

Shadow and Zimba drop clumps of fur especially when playing together which I can pick up with a pick up stick. I vacuum daily and de fur their cat towers and get quite alot of fur. Both boys get combed also. Only way to stay on top of Zimba getting matts. -

I have taken over 200 pictures of Jaxon so far lol. I think that would be awesome to see the changes all the way from kitten to adult, especially for people like me who have their first raggie kitten or those looking into adopting one. Honestly I can look at ragdoll pictures all day

I do vacuum daily because my grandson is here several days a week and he is on the move. Everything he crawls by must now be tested to see if it might be food apparently. I am still struggling with combing Jax. He hates it! I can’t even bribe him with his favorite treats. I am going to take it slow and keep trying each day. I worry about him getting mats when he gets older. -

Consider if the comb tines are rounded at the bottom. If not, it may not be comfortable for him. (True Greyhound combs have rounded end tines.) Also, comb slowly so that it will not pull. Try to get him used to it by imitating combing motions with your hands when you hold and pet him. It is like holding paws and manipulating them to make claw clipping go more smoothly. -

The tines are rounded at the bottom. I try to go slow, thankfully he never tangles yet and it has never pulled on his hair. If I imitate the motions he is fine but the second I get the comb he starts trying to get away. I will keep trying. Thank you.
