  My Tiki's breeder has retired.
  Thanks to Fay McGee-Waldner of Chat-An-Dolls Ragdolls for my wonderful cat and the international contribution that she made to the Ragdoll breed. I'm sorry to see her go.

  It seem a lot of breeders are retiring or passing away.
  Hopefully newer breeders have been mentored well and will continue to contribute to the breed
  The breeder of my older Raggies has had to quit because of health reasons as well.

  It's a tough time.  I guess I thought my breeder would always be breeding cats.  Her foundation male passed away, she retired, sold her house and relocated.  What a blow that was.  I've kept in touch and I'm assuming she's still with us as she's had some real health problems.   Could we just stick with the regular ragdolls?  Loved the seals, mitted, blue bicolors and blue mitteds.  I don't ever see me doing kittens again but wouldn't mind an adult.  I wouldn't but I do think Jamie would - LOL.

  I'm also sorry to see this, Fozzy and Katy's grandfather was one of Chat-An-Dolls breeding stock. Sad to see her go.

  I thought the same thing as you Sue. She was only an hour away from me and I adore my Tiki. I'd have definitely gone to her for my next cat and just figured she'd be there when the time came.

  Sad. Our Dandelion has Chatandolls in her line. Her Grandma is Chatandolls Anmitsu. Beautiful cats.

  Peggy and Mark still have Ragdolls and Siberians to re-home a year after the dead of a breeder couple out of California. I can't remember the name at the moment. Sad situation with failing health etc.

  Oh how sad. Kind of them to take that on. I believe that they're in the Anaheim area and anyone interested can PM Rebecca for details. Or you could put something in the classified section if Calirags approves.
