  I spent the entire morning looking for Jaxon. I looked under, behind, and above everything. I was starting to panic thinking he must have somehow got outside without us seeing. I was imagining all manners of horrible scenarios. I had been calling for him the entire time and even put out his favorite food but nothing. Finally, my last idea was to drop a toy spring (his favorite thing on earth) onto the kitchen floor. He always comes running when I drop it, ready for a game of fetch. I don’t know why it took me so long to think of that but thank goodness I did! As soon as it hit the floor I heard movement in the hall bathroom. I ran quickly to see where he was hiding. Turns out my silly boy had opened the bathroom cabinet, climbed inside and over a couple of towels to nap in the back corner. The door had shut back behind him. It never even occurred to me to look there.

  I can totally relate to your panic, it's happened to me on a few occasions with my bunch that I'd be frantically searching for one of them, looking in every conceivable place, only to find the missing cat come sauntering out from some secret hiding place. I've also found them lying in my towel cupboard.
  They certainly know how to scare us.

  Oh I for got to mention...Paddy is the exact same color as his bed which is right next to my computer desk. I can't tell you how many times I have looked for him, not seen him and panicked. I will take a picture the next time he "disappears".

  when Fluff vanishes the first call I make is a concerned... "Fluff?"
  then comes a more panicked... "Fluffa - where are you?"
  then a terrified... "FLUFFY???  FLUFFY???  FLUFFY???

  So glad you found Jaxon.  Its so scary when our babies hide and we can't find them.
