The piglets went to the vet today and the tech cut the nails, which was a huge help. I was used to picking Jamie up and putting him in the carrier. Not quite as easy with the girls. If you can picture me chasing Coco through the house...
They've each put on a pound in a little over a month. Dottie said they were very well behaved and I'm awfully glad to have the nails done. She also put Coco in as a brown tabby just so they could tell the difference. She was glad to meet them. She said "I heard you got them but I hadn't seen them". I told her that they didn't take Jamie's place but they sure do fill a void that is left. I'm so glad I got them and I do think they are happy here. When they came out from the vet, they were quite relaxed and I was getting kisses through the carrier door. They've been looking out the window at the birds in my neighbor's yard. What more could you ask for??
I will be glad when I can go in with them again but I was able to get a tech appointment today when I just called yesterday. I know that part of it is I practically lived there between Rags getting fluids for 18 months and then Jamie being sick for over a year. Hopefully these girls are healthy and well for many years to come.
