  I have three Ragdolls, one intact male and two other females. They're all over a year now. Apparently the male is not sexually interested in one of the females. The poor girl continues going into heat and being ignored. I am afraid she might get pyometra. I've tried separating them for a week, putting them together in the bathroom, etc...nothing. I was told that's called "Friend Zone." They are buddies. Any comments on this? Or other solutions? Thanks!

  If the male is experienced, then it may just take some time with a particular female. A girl not breeding is at some risk, but it is not unusual for younger queens not to be bred for some time. Just keep an eye on her for signs of illness.
  
  An intact male should not be free to be with whole queens othe than when intending to breed them to avoid oops litters (and breeding the queens too frequently for their safety).
