FIP experimental treatment Posted by: McKeu - 10-01-2019, 04:11 AM - Forum: Ragdoll Health - Replies (4) Heya, A friend of mine, who is a vet, recently got his hands on an experimental treatment for FIP in cats. The medicine in question is called "Mutian" and currently available in Asia only. Studies have shown that active ingredient inhibits FIP and cats returned to normal after several weeks of treatment. The medicine, however, currently is extremely expensive and mostly available on the black market only. He only got his hands on it, as one of his clients (a rich actress) was willing to pay for her cats treatment. In the first half of 2020 our club (Magnificats) will organize a WCF breeder seminar at the beautiful Danube Delta. Among others, the event will also be attended by THE Leslie Lyons as a speaker. I am pretty excited about that. Me and my girlfriend exhibit and steward at WCF cat shows across Europe in our spare time, and will maybe aim towards becoming registered cat judges at some point in the future. Our first Ragdoll was given to us by our "mentors", who have been breeding Ragdolls for over 15 years and they also provided the mate for her, and now, with our first litter being nearly 3 weeks old, we decided to get our cattery officially going. We exclusively breed the classic Ragdoll lines in the accepted three patterns. I have had cats throughout my entire life, for the most part strays, and I still have at least one "tabby household cat" at any given time. I’m so excited!! The breeder said he’s a lover already. He climbs right into her lap and starts purring. Once the other kittens see him they come over but only to play, never to sit like him. He is a very enthusiastic eater, in the last picture he had buried his face in his wet food and had it on him. Just 6 weeks 5 days and 14 hours to go until I can bring him home. Shadow wasn't impressed first being groomed then mum chasing him with the camera.
