Hahahaha - both my dog walker and I get excited if Skye does a poop on her walk. She refused to poop in our yard - which can be a good thing but makes for late night walks etc. Not looking forward to the -40c walks

Oh my goodness I would not be looking forward to that either! What a smart girl keeping her yard clean.

Jaxon has runny poop again. Before he was pooping once a day but he has pooped countless times today and has ate almost nothing. He threw up twice this evening. I will be calling the vet first thing in the morning to have him checked. I’m panicking, I am so scared something serious is wrong with him.

Does he seem to be in any distress? Do you have an emergency vet that you can get to if he has any worsening symptoms?

RE: Poop issues - NatsFan78 - 11-24-2019

He is running around playing and acting normal right now. At the moment he is climbing up through my Christmas tree. We have pulled him out of it about a million times. He is quite the climber. He has slept more today. I called the emergency vet but he told me to call the office in the morning.

Sounds like they're not overly concerned. Please let us know how it goes in the morning.

RE: Poop issues - NatsFan78 - 11-24-2019

I will, thank you. He seemed to think I was overreacting. I hope he is correct.

RE: Poop issues - Codysmom - 11-25-2019

I hope Jaxon is feeling better now, thinking of you! xo

Thank you, I am waiting for the vet to open in three hours. He must have been up playing at some point last night. I woke up to find a few toys beside me. Hopefully that is a good sign.

Better to have things checked too fast than not fast enough, (In general GI upset last about 48 hours and if it son causing dehydration then one can with that long.

Toys on the bed. Sounds like he wanted play at about 4 in the morning. Good boy that he just tried to entice you rather than digging at you and waking you up. Our first Ragdoll would lick eyelids, He understood that open eyes meant awake. Very disconcerting, but too cute.
