  It seems Almo has AAFCO compliant foods. They represent that the AAFCO standards are the equivalent of the Canadian (?) version with which the comply. They also have non-compliant treats.
  
  There are other "foods" that are provided only as treats and not full AAFCO compliant diets. It is important for folks to understand the difference and feed the treats only as treats (a small part of the daily intake).
  
  In this context, if it is found the guy does not like plain pumpkin, then a treat that has enough pumpkin may do the job. (I will note that kittens are best on kitten food, so that is another factor in how much of other things are consumed.

  I decided to go ahead and try the pumpkin. He was not a fan so I mixed a little in his food. He smelled of it then walked off. Hopefully when he wakes up in a bit he will try eating it.

  If you do not want to get syringes to feed, then just put a bit in his mouth on your finger. He may even find he likes the taste.

  After his nap he finished off the food mixed with the pumpkin, yay! Hopefully between that and the Bene-Bac he will start having normal poop soon.

  Should I give him the pumpkin twice a day? He eats it as long as I mix it in with his food. He ate a spoon of it last night and another spoon this morning. I gave him the Bene-Bac yesterday, I just added the gel to the top of his food. He didn’t seem to even notice it. He hasn’t pooped since I added them both. I called the vet to ask how often to give the Bene-Bac. The vet I use is not there but hopefully the other one will let me know soon.

  I agree, also. Split the dose. The taste won't be as over whelming that way.

  One dose of Bene-Bac should be enough. One might try another if there is improvement accomplished but more needed,

  Thank you! He still has not pooped today. I have never wanted a cat to poop so badly lol. I am praying it will be solid when he goes.
