I believe that you are in Louisiana, willing to drive and looking for breeder recommendations. I seem to remember that Cajun Ragdolls is in LA and is a reputable breeder. Hopefully someone else will chime in with recommendations.

Please take your time reading through the information here. I'm new here and I've only purchased one ragdoll before, so there are others far more qualified than me to give you advice. Personally, I joined this forum because Ragdolls are a blue eyed pointed breed and I strongly oppose the breeding of Minks and Sepia's. They are unaccepted variants and I would never support a breeder who is breeding these variants. In regard to your question about CFA vs TICA...
I found this link

Thank you, I have read a good bit of the information I am still just so unsure between. I feel like I have ran across from TICA breeders than anything. At the end of the day my kitty will just be to show me love. I don't have the time to show them. I was told though that if you don't go through a CFA breeder, that your cat will change colors as it gets older. ITs eyes will turn green and they will start to look different. Also, they will possibly have diseases. I just lost my boy of 11 years I can't get a kitten and then lose them in 2 years. So my question almost is how do you know that a TICA breeder is still a safe choice. Any advice from the kitty pros is appreciated!
