  Katy, my adorable baby girl. I was thinking the other day how my pets have changed from being predominantly female to male. She's the only girl (or should I say, princess) in the house now.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  Wesley, such an adorable, lovable boy! He's been such a delightful addition to the household.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  Not a Ragdol of course, but I couldn't leave Bailey out, he belongs to my daughter and is such a wonderful buddy to both Katy and Wesley, he'll run through the tunnels to get them sometimes too. He's such a sweet, funny boy.

  Katy because she's a princess and the ragdoll girl I dreamed of having... I even bought pink cherry blossom cat bowls because I was so fixed on having a girl - I was going to call her Emily-Rose...
  
  Wesley because he's a true force of nature...
  
  To say a person cat is a force of nature means the person cat is a very strong personality or character. In short, a person cat that is full of energy, unstoppable, and unforgettable...
  
  Bailey because he's so adorably sweet when he plays with Wesley...
  (and my first dog was a standard black doxie called Timmy)

  Cody does have a sweet face, and I too have a soft spot for lilacs. Probably because Cody is my first Ragdoll and he is such a special boy with loads of personality.
  
  I remember you mentioned once about having a girl named Emily-Rose, were you in contact with your breeder yet, or was it just your first preference?
  
  Wesley, like Cody is FULL of personality. I remember the breeder telling me he was the busiest kitten in the litter and I wondered what I was in for, but he is an absolute delight. He is busy, but busy in a good way, he keeps us entertained with all the shenanigans he gets up to, it can be rather hair-raising at times for instance, when he jumps up onto the curtain pelmets and runs along them. The house has become a LOT livelier since he entered it!
  
  Timmy must have been a sweetie, do you perhaps have a photo of him? Bailey is the 3rd dachshund I've had and each one of them have been wonderful dogs.

  They are all so wonderful, but I have to say that looking at Katy makes my heart beat faster and brings tears to my eyes.
  Although her markings are better, she reminds me so much of Smudge...her coloring, her expressions and her body poses. It is like seeing my boy again. Thank you for this post.

  Emily-Rose was the ragdoll I thought I really wanted - she was initially my first preference. I was looking at breeders - but had not made contact yet. Rose is a family name - my mum's middle name - and it was also a nod to The Daytons and Blossom Time.
  
  But Fluff is the cat I was always meant to have...
  
  I had a chocolate point Siamese in the past called Sabrina - and was fascinated by the lilac colouring - so when I was offered a lilac ragdoll I couldn't refuse...
  
  We have also had 3 dachshunds!!! After Timmy came a pair of miniature long-haired dachshunds called Sugar & Spice. No photos of them - but the best memories...

  I know what you mean Gina, some days she has a certain 'look' and I see my Fozzy and then realise it's Katy. Smudge often made me think of Fosco. xo

  I love the name Emily-Rose, perhaps you may have one one day!
  
  Isn't it odd that you've also had 3 dachshunds! My first one was a smooth-haired black and tan like Bailey. I go him when I was about 5 years old and he lived to the grand old age of 17, so I was in my twenties when I lost him.
  When my daughter was about 4 years old we got a female smooth-haired red dachshund named Tuppence aka Tuppy. Unfortunately she had health issues and she passed in 2016 from a brain tumour and she also had an underlying heart condition at the age of 9 years. The older forum members will remember her well.
  
  
  She was a teeny-tiny girl and weighed on average only 3,3kg. What a little sweetheart she was though, this was taken a few months before we lost her.
