My mother gave me her friend's cat to take care of (my mother's friend had passed away). She was only abut 5 months old when we got her, and now she is 10 months old (and bigger!). But she looks like a pedigreed breed, and knowing my mother's friend (she loved siamese-type cats) I am guessing that Susie is a Birman. But there are no Birmans with her particular type of points - there is such a thing as a tortie point ragdoll, but no calico points for either Birmans or Ragdolls. She really does look like a calico point. Eh.
But opinions matter, and I would like some help in identifying her. Any help would be appreciated - -

I have no idea what Susie is except that she's utterly gorgeous...

Welcome Ben and Susie. Your girl is precious. Without paperwork (pedigree, etc.) I don't think it can be stated definitively what breed Susie is. However, it is possible that she could be a RagaMuffin. That breed allows for any and all color combinations. I wonder if DNA testing could give you the answer?

Forgot to mention that in RagaMuffins they are not called calicos, but rather, tortie point with white. -

Calico and tortie are genetically the same. Any pointed breed that has reds (flame - called "orange" in non pedigreed cats) will have torties.
There is no certain way to determine if a pointed cat is a Ragdoll, but the chances are very much against it.
