I am making myself crazy trying to remember Connie's (from our original Ragdoll forum) last name and the name of her cattery. She came from Pennsylvania.

I thought this might be interesting for newer Ragdoll owners, to see the growth and coat changes as they mature over the first year.
I'll start off with Katy my bluepoint bi-colour girl.
FIRST YEAR OF GROWTH:
I got this photo from the breeder, Katy when she was 8 weeks old here - April 2014 (our autumn/fall)
Katy at around 12 weeks old she was still with the breeder here. - May 2014
This is Katy on the day I got her, she was 4 months old, it was on the 9th of July 2014. (winter - southern hemisphere).
5 months old - August 2014 (winter)
6 months old - September 2014 (spring)
7 months - October 2014 (spring)
8 months - November 2014 (spring, but summer coat). By this time the daytime temps are really hot.
9 months - December 2014 (summer coat)
10 months - January 2015 (summer coat)
11 months - February 2015 (summer coat), she was born at the end of February, this was around 2 weeks before she turned a year.
1 year - She was already a lovely sized girl with LOTS of floof!
Please feel free to share your Ragdolls growth and colour change, it's so interesting watching them grow. Katy is my fluffiest Ragdoll, Cody' fur tends to lie closer to his body, but his mane has grown. I hope to post his first year of pics soon, being a lilac you don't see much change in colour till they reach around 18 months.
I hope to do Fozzy sometime, being male it's nice to see their growth too, but I'm just not ready for that yet. I still can't see photos of my beautiful boy without crying yet. I hope it'll eventually come.
Looking forward to seeing some more pics!

Some of you know Patches (Mitten's older feral sister) who has been living in our backyard all her life. She'll be turning 11 in March. She's always been the most shy, but over this past year she's been coming closer to me and we'll have a good conversation when I go out to feed her. She's such a sweetheart, although I can't touch her she'll now come within arms reach which is very encouraging.
This pic I took in winter, you can see her gorgeous winter coat. She's a magnificent girl.
Bobby has been around on and off since August 2019, I thought he was a feral kitty at first because he used to run away whenever he saw anyone, but he started coming closer and closer and I can pet him, he love being fussed and petted so he either belongs to someone, or did belong to someone.
I took these pics of him in August last year when he just started coming around, we hadn't made friends yet, he'd watch me from a distance, since then whenever I go outside he'll come running to me meowing. He's a real sweetie!

Good morning! Do ragdolls only shed when they lose their winter coat? I was fully expecting Jaxon to shed terribly all the time but he doesn’t shed at all. I have a black throw that stays on the couch. When he lays on it there is never any loose hair on it when he gets up.

When Jaxon first came home he had issues with diarrhea for several weeks, over a month. He gained weight quickly but then lost it just as quickly. He has not had any problems for a few weeks.
He weighed 2.5 pounds when he came home November 9 and he weighs 5.6 pounds this morning. He is five months old today. He eats at least three cans of food each day, often four. Each can is three ounces. He gets Pure Bites freeze dried treats each day as well. Does this sound right for his age?
His vet told me he looked perfect at his last appointment on January 2 and he was 4.8 pounds then. She also told me Ragdolls should never be over 12-14 pounds though so I am not sure how much I trust her opinion on his weight. Jaxon’s dad weighs 17 pounds. I just want to make sure he is on track after he was sick and lost weight. Thank you!
